KONJAC
The name Konjac comes from a tree known as Amorphophallus Konjac, which is found in East and South East Asia.
The way in which this sponge is shaped is by mixing the ground root of the tree with plenty of water. Once this is done, it is cooked and shaped into a sponge. It should be noted that this process makes it a 100% natural and biodegradable product.
The main use of the konjac sponge is to exfoliate the skin in the daily facial routine. The main advantages of the daily use of this product are the immediate results of deep cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising your skin in a natural way.
The fact that the exfoliation it performs on your skin is gentle, makes it a perfect ally for the treatment of sensitive skin, but also for those who do not have this condition. You will get an exfoliation that treats your skin gently, so applying this sponge to your skin on a daily basis will not be aggressive.
Konjac sponges that are smaller in size are usually oriented for facial use, but you can also use it for body use and exfoliate those areas of the body where you have pimples, such as sometimes the arms or back. In addition, using this product is an ideal treatment against acne because it is hypoallergenic and has a high presence of alkaline fibre, this fibre stands out for being a pH balancer.
By using this product you are helping to care for the environment as it is natural, biodegradable and reusable. The first thing to note is that the first time you use this product, you will find yourself with a dry, rough, rough sponge. Once you wet it with water this will change, and when that little sponge absorbs all the water it will look soft and smooth, isn’t it wonderful?
It’s very light and soft to the touch, so you’re going to enjoy the pleasant feeling of using it in your facial routine. It also has wonderful astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, which make this sponge a perfect ally for the treatment of your oily and acne-prone skin.
You can complement the use of the sponge with another product, a facial soap or facial cleanser, whatever you prefer. You can get the most out of your facial cleanser by using the Konjac sponge. Because when you use the sponge with your facial soap, the result you get is more relaxing and cleaner because it generates much more foam than normal.
If you have circulation problems in your face, the Konjac sponge has the wonderful benefit of activating the circulation by wiping it over the affected area, resulting in the skin being soothed, calmed and soothed.
Some of the tips we can give you when cleansing your face to remove make-up is to first use a make-up remover before applying the sponge so that it stays clean and in good condition for longer.
For even better results, the way to apply the sponge is in circular motions, without exerting excessive pressure on the face to remove all impurities and clean the pores in depth.
We recommend that after each use, you wash the sponge well and let it dry, it is very important that it is completely dry before the next use, that way you will avoid the proliferation of bacteria. To make the drying part easier, hang it somewhere in your house to let it drain and you will see how quickly it will be completely dry.
Also, as a precaution to avoid a possible proliferation of bacteria, you can also boil the sponge for a couple of minutes to sterilise it, thus eliminating any bacteria.
